SH-305
Polysiloxane resins are often incorporated into hybrid systems, combining their properties with those of other polymers like acrylics, to achieve specific performance characteristics.
These combine polysiloxane with other polymers, often resulting in coatings with improved properties like weather resistance and scratch resistance.
Acrylic-Polysiloxane Hybrids: By combining acrylic and siloxane resins, a low VOC, highly weatherable topcoat is produced. These systems can be produced as one- or two-component systems.
Durle® SH-305 polysiloxane resin is an acrylic-modified siloxane resin composed of an interpenetrating network structure of polysiloxane and acrylic resin. SH-305 combines the advantages of both polysiloxane and acrylic resin. It features high solid content, low VOC, excellent weatherability, and good recoatability. Polysiloxane resin is suitable for maintenance as well as decorative refurbishment.
