SI-206
Durle®SI-206 Water-based polyamide-imide(PAI) resin is a high-performance resin material developed by Quark. Polyamide-imide (PAI) is defined as a thermoplastic amorphous polymer known for its high thermal stability, strong adhesion to metals, and insolubility when fully cured, making it a key binder material in coatings and cookware primers.
Polyamide-imide(PAI) was specially designed to meet the conventional requirements water-based non-stick coatings, offering good compatibility with water and other water-based resins. Furthermore, it provides high gloss, high hardness(especially hard hardness), high wear resistance, and excellent corrosion resistance. Additionally, non-stick coatings prepared with polyamide-imide resin exhibits a blush tint and are less prone to yellowing.
PRODUCT BENEFITS
High gloss, high hardness
Excellent wear resistance
Superior corrosion resistance
APPLICATION
Polyamide-imide(PAI) is applied to formulate water-based high temperature resistant coatings for cookware, household appliance. As a kind of adhesives with excellent high temperature resistance is the other application of polyamide-imide resin. It’s also available for enameled wire.
