SI-307
Durle® Polyamide-imide resin SI-307 is a high-performance polymer developed based on a solvent-borne system. PAI resin is typically formulated into functional coatings, such as primers for non-stick cookware, high-temperature adhesives, and high-performance insulating enameled wires.
Coatings prepared with Durle® polyamide-imide resin SI-307 are durable, wear-resistant, heat-resistant, corrosion-resistant, and food-contact-safe. Coatings made of PAI resin also exhibit strong resistance to organic solvents and a wide range of industrial chemicals, along with excellent tribological properties. PAI coatings system are cost-effective and widely used in electrical/electronic applications, high-temperature decorative finishes, and anti-corrosion applications.
※ The solvent component of this resin is NMP solvent.
PRODUCT BENEFITS
Long-term service time
Outstanding wear and abrasion resistance
Extreme heat resistance
Corrosion resistance
Food-contact safety
APPLICATION
Typical application of PAI resin is to produce non-stick coatings for commercial bakeware and industrial food processing equipment. PAI resin could withstands continuous exposure to high temperature. It exhibits excellent adhesion, which could bonds strongly to metals like aluminum, steel and copper. PAI resin also offers outstanding chemical resistance to oils, fuels, solvents, and other chemicals.
PAI is used to formulate adhesives for demanding environments. It often supplied as a film or high-viscosity paste. PAI resin provides high tensile and shear strength even after long-term aging.
Enameled wire is a major and high-volume application for PAI. It is used as the primary insulating layer on copper or aluminum wires. The wire is passed through a varnish of PAI resin and then cured in an oven to form a thin, tough, continuous insulating film. PAI resin shows great temperature resistance and provides superior electrical insulation.
