Silicone Intermediates are methyl phenyl siloxane intermediates that can be used with curing catalysts to formulate high-hardness, durable, moisture-curing coatings at room temperature. They can also be blended with organic resins containing reactive functional groups or undergo dealcoholization reactions through methoxy groups, thereby imparting improved heat resistance and weatherability to the resin system.
