SH-150
Siloxane resin, also known as silicone resin, is a type of polymer characterized by a main chain composed of siloxane bonds (-Si-O-Si-) and organic groups (like methyl or phenyl) attached to the silicon atoms. These resins combine inorganic and organic properties, offering a unique set of characteristics including heat and weather resistance, water repellency, and good electrical properties.
Durle® SH-150 is a methyl phenyl siloxane polymer resin, methyl phenyl groups offers excellent temperature resistance, cracking resistance, gloss retention and appropriate flexibility. Polysiloxane resin application is to formulate high temperature resistant coatings and functional coatings for metal protection. Protective and functional coatings made of this kind of liquid silicone resin features extreme temperature endurance, anti-cracking and durability.

APPLICATION
Methyl phenyl siloxane polymer resins are applied to formulate high-temperature resistant and fire-retardant coatings for household appliance, electrical appliances, stoves, ovens, smokestacks, automobile exhaust pipes and engines.
Siloxane resins are used to increase the heat resistance and weatherability by introducing to other system as a resin modifier.
